Art On The Line is back! On Saturday, Nov. 4, from 5-7 p.m. , ArtsWorcester will hold this fast, furious and off-the-wall art event. Three hundred original two-dimensional artworks, donated by local artists, are suspended from the gallery ceiling in a dramatic installation and sold on the spot for $20 or $30 each. Another 13 works by leading regional artists, of varying sizes and media, will be raffled off that evening. All proceeds benefit the ArtsWorcester exhibition and educational programs. Guests are given the opportunity to view the catalogs of the evening’s artworks in advance.

“Art On the Line is both an installation – an interactive sculpture that’s shifting and shrinking every minute after the doors first open – and an important fundraiser for ArtsWorcester,” said Executive Director Juliet Feibel. “When people snap up the artworks, or try their luck in the raffle, they’re keeping our doors open and free to all.”

First, at 5, First-In-Line ticket holders ($40 each) are admitted, with first choice and a complimentary glass of wine. At 5:20, Next-In-Line ticket holders ($20 each, free to students with ID) are released into the galleries.

All ticket sales and online catalogs are available on www.artsworcester.org. Free parking in the paved lots is available belonging to the Freemasons, at Ionic and Beacon Street. For more information, contact ArtsWorcester at 508-755-5142 or info@artsworcester.org.
