Getting Fit, One Sexy Move at a Time

What’s the first thing you think of when you say to yourself, “I’ve got to go to the gym?” If you’re like me, it’s “Ughhhh.” But what if you try a workout that’s different, sexy, fun and confidence boosting? Well then you have Cardio Strip Tease, the breakout star of the sexy fitness world ~ and “Ughhh” turns to “Yeah!”
This type of workout provides you with a full body workout. It combines stretching, strengthening, flexibility, dancing, yoga, pilates, and acrobatics all into one sultry exercise!
Another great thing about this workout is that it promotes the idea of feeling comfortable in your own skin, no matter what age or size you are ~ young, old, mothers, teens, etc. It’s getting a good workout while having a great time and learning to feel your sexiest. Let’s face it, working out and getting in shape isn’t exactly everyone’s idea of fun or of a way to build confidence. Many people think of working out as a chore, something they have to do no matter how little they enjoy it. Cardio Strip tease is different. This craze has caught on like wildfire and even has Hollywood trading it’s treadmill for a pole. Celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Carmen Electra, and Jessica Simpson have all tried pole fitness to get their bods into sexy shape.
Even beyond Hollywood, cardio strip tease has become a popular trend all over the world, from the U.S. and Canada to across the seas to Ireland and Asia, this workout is making a huge name for itself.
But what about for us in the Woo? Where do we get our cardio strip tease on? D-L Studios,located at 70 Winter Street in Worcester, certainly knows a thing or two about getting in shape the sexy way. The Studio offers Pole Fitness classes in many levels: Beginner I, Beginner II, Intermediate and Advanced. With each level, the technique, tricks and routine become more intense and more intricate. Also available are open pole classes where you can create your own class! No agenda here, just practice routines and fitness regime with the supervision and advice from instructors. Don’t miss the drop-in classes either where you can try pole fitness out and see if you’d like to sign up for classes!
One popular feature at D-L Fitness Studios is the Private Pole Parties offered where you can gather a group of your best girls and have a night full of fun, exercise, dance and sex appeal! Whether it be a birthday, bachelorette party, or just for fun, this is surely a different and healthy way to spend a night out.
D-L Fitness Studios also offers “Toning Tease,” which the studio describes as ”…taking some of the basic moves of the strip tease for a fun, energizing and sexy workout. Some people practice with several layers of clothes so they can strip while dancing, but stripping is not a requirement for any of the routines. You can bring your fetish boa to add fun!” The classes include a warm up, routine and cool down. It is a full body work out focusing on stretching, and strengthening all muscles.
Owner Danielle Burke says these work outs are “…so much fun! They aren’t boring, and you can go home and do it too!” In addition to helping you gain a great body and a renewed sense of sexuality, “It’s empowering. People come in shy and leave with confidence,” Burke says. With co-owner Lisa Lavoie, D-L Fitness Studios has certainly become the “it” place to go for an intense cardio strip tease work out!
