Rock and Shock Music and Horror Convention
Three days of music, monsters and mayhem
October 2004 – Prepare to be rocked and shocked. This year MassConcerts, Massachusetts’ second largest concert promoter, and Boston’s hard-rocking radio station WAAF will bring a gut-wrenchingly exciting new experience to Worcester: The Rock and Shock Music and Horror Convention.
Living-nightmares will descend on downtown Worcester to rock the Palladium and shock the Centrum Friday, October 8 through Sunday, October 10. You can join all or part of mayhem, but you won’t want to miss a moment of this monstrosity of horror and heavy metal.
Worcester’s Centrum Convention Centre will provide the shock: three days and 10,000,000 volts worth. Friday, October 8 through Sunday, October 10, The Centrum will be filled with horror film actors, directors and distributors, as well as make-up artists, costume designers and comic book artists and vendors. Notable horror film stars, Jeffrey Combs (Re-Animator, Feardotcom), Sid Haig (House of 1,000 Corpses, The Devil’s Rejects), Angela Bettis (May, Carrie, The Tool Box Murders) and Kane Hoddler (Jason Voorhees of the Friday the 13th films) will be on-site at the horror convention. There will also be costume contests running throughout the weekend.
