Assumption College welcomes all members of the community to their annual Advent Festival of Lessons and Carols. This holiday tradition will feature an evening of scriptural and non-scriptural readings, music and prayer to celebrate the season.

The theme for this years event comes from a passage in The Journey of the Magi by T.S. Eliot, “For a journey, and such a long journey…”

Along with the readings, comes music performed by the Assumption College Music Ministry. A reception will follow their performances with light refreshments at the Tinsley Campus Ministry Center in the Lauring Community Room.

A variety of Assumption College community members will lead the scriptural and non-scriptural readings and prayer.

All community members all welcome to attend this free event, sponsored by the Campus Ministry.

The Advent Festival of Lessons and Carols is on December 5, at 7:30 p.m. at the Chapel of the Holy Spirit, 500 Salisbury St. Worcester, MA.
