Who doesn’t want to impress friends and family at holiday dinners or parties? I want to share some easy tips and tricks for holiday makeup ideas and easy, beautiful hairstyles. Let’s start off with some makeup techniques that can help complete your holiday look.
Eyes: Applying glitter shadow or liquid to an everyday eyeliner can help you look more festive and bright! When applying eyeliner, some women like that dramatic cat eye. It’s just as simple as finishing a straight edge and easily creating that purrrrfect cat-eye. For a last and easy step, apply mascara to the bottom lashes and smudge lightly with your mascara brush for a simple, subtle smoky effect.
Lips: If you’re rushed for time and want to skip the eye makeup, simply make your look pop with a bold lipstick! Other colors that you wear in your outfit will define your look more.
Cheeks: No blush? No problem! Use that bold, red lipstick and swipe it along your cheekbones and then blend with your fingertips for glowing, rosy cheeks. Now that’s getting ready for a holly, jolly Christmas.
What kind is look isn’t complete without a cute, stylish and trendy hairstyle?! Make a cute, loose braid look festive by tying a red, gold or green ribbon into a glittery bow, and boom – you look like a cute present.
For some cute curls, start off with a pony tail. Take a ½- to 1-inch curling iron and take pieces of the pony and curl for about 5 to 10 seconds and repeat throughout the pony. Once you’re finished, release the ponytail, brush out the curls and finish with some setting spray, and wham – you’ve got natural looking waves in seconds!
By using these helpful tips and tricks, you’ll see that you can make any holiday pop. Happy holidays, ladies!
