On Friday, Nov. 9th, three well-respected artists will share their unique processes and love for color in an exhibit entitled, “In Living Color” which will be held at the Spaulding R. Aldrich Heritage Gallery in Whitinsville, MA. The exhibit will include textile art, paintings, and sculptures.

These three artists, Catherine Kirsch, Leslie Graff, and Victor Pacheco, who are all members of Arts Worcester, will take you away with interesting pieces involving hanging textile art, colorful paintings, and larger than life sculptures.

Catherine Kirsch mimics the layering involved with acrylic paintings by doing so with dye, paint, stitch, and imagery on cloth that is placed on textiles. It’s innovative, it’s colorful, and it’s original.

Leslie Graff uses inspiration from Art Nouveau and mid-century periodical illustration towards her expressive paintings as she explores the meaning and richness of life in ordinary things.

Victor Pacheco works with sculpture to provoke identity formation where multiple viewpoints of identity are engaged.

This exhibit will run from 4:30 to 7:30 pm, starting off with an artists’ reception. Their work will be up until Dec. 28th.
