Whether you’re getting over a divorce or breakup, frustrated with a difficult co-worker or just experiencing a low point, The Pig Board from Snout A Pig offers the sweet satisfaction of revenge ~ without any of the carnage!
Here’s how it works: Guests get together and some bring a picture of a pig who has earned a snout. Don’t have a photo? Just sketch the pig’s face on a piece of paper.
Guests are requested to wear pig-themed attire. Girls can wear pink and pigtails. Guys can wear brown to represent mud. Before beginning, make sure everyone has oink d’oeuvres and a favorite pig drink.
Then, let the pig roast begin! Someone starts by giving a brief description of how the pig earned his or her snout, then places the pig photo on the Pig Board in one hand and holds a snout peg in the other hand. The rest of the group counts down, then oinks, squeals and grunts like a pig. The snouter pushes the snout peg through the pig’s nose on the picture.
You may also decorate your pig with enclosed captions; e.g. “I’m a Jerk”, “I’m a Liar”, “I’m a Cheater” or create your own. Continue until all pigs are snouted on the Pig Board.
After all the pigs have been snouted, it’s time to pig out. Slop (dinner) is served after the snouting, preferably in little pig troughs.
