Ole Smoky Moonshine has teamed up with Massachusetts distributors United Liquors to cross state lines into MA and Rhode Island. Distilling and bottling at Ole Smoky Distillery in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, the company is putting itself on the map with plans for major expansion by year’s end. The brand currently ships to retail stores in Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, New Jersey, South Carolina and Tennessee, with plans to land in New York and California, among other states, this summer. In light of growing demand, Ole Smoky Moonshine expects to be in potentially all 50 states by next year.

range from $20-$25 with modest fluctuations by state for Original, Cherries, and Apple Pie respectively.

“We are a family owned business and take pride in being American made. Our century old moonshine recipe is born in the fertile soil of East Tennessee farms where our corn is raised and transported to our family’s mill to be ground for Tennessee’s first legal moonshine. When the state of Tennessee changed its laws in July 2009, allowing the licensed production of whiskey and other spirits across new counties, a group of local families saw an opportunity to showcase the art of superior, mountain-made moonshine. Ole Smoky Moonshine, the first-ever legal moonshine in Tennessee, is a line of authentic products made from family recipes passed down through generations by inhabitants of the Great Smoky Mountains region of Appalachia.
