Koh Gen Do Cosmetics are derived from Japanese and Chinese herbs and, unlike most cosmetic bases, contain no petroleum-based products, synthetic fragrances or composite pigments. Infused with thirty-six botanical extracts, Koh Gen Do softens, smoothes, clarifies, and firms skin. This cult favorite brand has taken Hollywood by storm, which makes sense, since it was an actress who ~ over two decades ago ~ created the brand to restore her over-stressed skin. She came up with a skin care line that stimulates and supports the skin’s natural restorative properties. Soon, she used the same concept to create a base make-up line that has become a favorite of actresses around the world and has been credited in over 200 international films (some of the products are even marked “Cinema Quality” or “High Definition” as a tip of the hat to their Hollywood connection).
Now you can get in on the craze. Everyone at Koh Gen Do believes that true beauty is about more than just appearance; it’s about renewing your sense of inner beauty and imparting confidence, a combination that is always attractive. So in keeping with this belief, Koh Gen Do creates their products to improve skin, body, and spirit.
I got to try Koh Gen Do’s lipstick (in pink beige, which gives a really nice blush to lips, perfect for summer) and the first thing I noticed is that the product that comes out of the applicator is much wider than you’ll find with most other lipsticks ~ which made total coverage a breeze. I also used the Aqua Foundation and the company’s claim that it “…minimizes pores and imperfections” is totally accurate ~ I’ve got really pale skin so everything shows up on it, but with the foundation on it had a great, even tone.
But don’t just take my word for it ~ to check out the impressive list of celebrity fans (including Katherine Heigl, Christina Applegate and Kristin Davis) and make-up artists who love the brand ~ and to browse the full complement of products and place your order, visit www.kohgendocosmetics.com.
