Help the Worcester Animal Rescue League Help Homeless Animals!
The Worcester Animal Rescue League (worcester-arl.org), a no-kill shelter, is looking for foster homes for cats and dogs that need special attention before they are ready for adoption. Becoming a foster parent for WARL is a great way that you can help the pets. Foster parents provide love, care and attention to the animals that need to spend some time in the comfort of a home environment. The length of commitment varies. Some animals require a few weeks, some require a few months. If you are interested in becoming a foster parent, please contact the shelter!
You can also help the WARL raise funds to care for homeless dogs and cars by attending one or both of these upcoming benefit shows:
Comedy Benefit Show (21+), April 1st at the W. Boylston Legion ~ tickets are available at WARL and for more information, please check out the website and facebook page.
Kitten Shower, April 2nd, 10-2 at WARL (139 Holden Street, Worcester). Similar to a baby shower, WARL’s Kitten Shower asks the community to bring in supplies to help the League care for the 600+ kittens they help each year. They are in need of dry and canned kitten food, kitten formula, blankets, and much more. For additional information, please check the website and facebook page.
If you think you might be ready to adopt a pet, please visit worcester-arl.org/adopting.htm to view pets available for adoption, how the adoption process works, special pet programs, and more.
