Tenka Asian Bistro combines a delicious blend of flavors from Thailand, Japan, China and Vietnam with a chic atmosphere. Located at 153 Turnpike Road in Westborough, MA, Tenka has already proven to be a hot spot for the most mouth-watering Asian cuisine around.
Manager Kevin Shi has worked in the restaurant business for over 20 years and lends his extensive experience and knowledge. Opened only since September, Tenka’s intimate atmosphere is perfect for a relaxed, romantic night out as the modern lighting gives the space a warm glow.
The menu is full of traditional dishes that range from appetizers to noodles to a vegetarian menu to tempura. “Some of our most popular items are the Tenka seafood curry and sushi,” Shi says. One of their most delicious sushi rolls is the Tenka House Roll, Cajun rock shrimp and avocado topped with spicy tuna, Japanese seasoning, spicy wasabi, and aioli. Are you drooling yet?
Tenka also has an Hibachi grill with a full menu including filet mignon, chicken and twin lobsters. All Hibachi entrees come with clear soup, salad, a vegetable, and Hibachi shrimp appetizer. Menu prices range from the lower teens to the upper thirties, but the portions are substantial and the quality superb.
About the Hibachi grill feature, Shi says, “We accommodate large groups, birthday parties and more.” Tenka also has a function room that will surely accomodate you and your party guests’ needs. Book your party on a Friday or Saturday and you can dance the night away to music from a live DJ, or test your singing talents with some karaoke!
Tenka also has a full bar to keep things exciting. “Some of our most popular drinks are our martinis. In particular, our green tea martini and sake martini.”
