IWABO vocalist Krysta Cameron comments, “We’re very excited about going out on our second headlining tour, especially because we’re going to be sharing our stage with some of the most rad bands and people we have the pleasure of knowing.” Guitarist Steven Bradley continues: “It’s an honor to take out such amazing bands, and it’ll be awesome to hit up a bunch of places again after making so many new friends on good ol’ Warped Tour! We are stepping up our live show with insane lights and surprises. Basically, we guarantee a seizure or you can kick our merch guy Eli in the taint.”

Iwrestledabearonce ~ vocalist Krysta Cameron, guitarists Steven Bradley and John Ganey, bassist Mike “Rickshaw” Martin and drummer Mikey Montgomery ~ are touring in support of their recently released It’s All Happening (Century Media Records) three disc deluxe reissue CD, which includes the It’s All Remixed bonus CD and DVD, featuring a variety of remixes and exclusive video. According to Rick Florino of ArtistDirect.com, “…the Louisiana electro-tech-grind-jazz-techno-metal outfit have a sound that’s so distinctly deadly it’s earth-shattering. There’s no genre safe from Iwrestledabearonce’s unbreakable sonic grapple…” (July 21, 2010).

Look for the video for Iwrestledabearonce’s “Danger In The Manger” ~ directed by Justin Beasley of KOTK Productions ~ on the band’s MySpace page (www.myspace.com/iwrestledabearonce). Says Steven, “Our friends at KOTK Productions have once again proven themselves to be the most insane pair of geniuses on the face of the earth…This green-screen animated delight of a video is sure to arouse and offend people everywhere!” Krysta elaborates, “Our new video for ‘Danger In The Manger’ was super fun to make and we are very pleased, shocked, and had a laugh after we saw the art that was picked from director Justin Beasley’s genius mind. We are very excited to show our beary friends our latest video and hope it may turn a frown upside down!”

On April 13, the world was introduced to the newest members of Sky Eats Airplane with the release of their explosive three-song EP The Sound of Symmetry. Recorded in Bethesda, MD with up-and-coming producer Taylor Larson, the EP showcases the band’s signature sound of grandiose guitars, gut wrenching screams and the memorable infusion of electronica, and takes it to the next level by finding the perfect balance between heavy, hard-hitting cuts and catchy, delicate melodies.

Chelsea Grin, Utah’s paramount metalcore/deathcore band, was the first band signed to the newly formed Artery Recordings, a joint venture imprint label of Razor & Tie and The Artery Foundation. With three guitarists, double bass drumming, low bass, and unparalleled vocals, Chelsea Grin was the ideal band to spearhead Artery Recordings. Desolation Of Eden is Chelsea Grin’s first full-length album and was released on February 16, reaching #21 on the Billboard “Heatseekers” chart less than a month after its release.

The Chariot continues to be a driving force in hardcore and punk music after seven years and counting in the underground scene. In May 2009 they released their latest full-length, Wars and Rumors of Wars, about which Alternative Press said, “The only rumor that should be spread about this album is that it’s The Chariot’s best yet.” Hailed by both fans and peers alike for their brutal, thrashing, awe-filled live performances, The Chariot’s shows are not to be missed.

New England favorites post-hardcore group Vanna have spent the last several years on a personal journey, and it’s the experience of living on the road that has helped them to discover who they truly are. After years of relentless touring and musical growth, the band has found balance with a solid lineup and several releases under their belt. Their journey continues this fall with the release of their much anticipated Honest Hearts EP. They are just off the Vans Warped Tour and had the time of their lives.
