A new musical team has hit Central MA: The Lotto and Pippy Production and Songwriting duo. Their aim is beyond just Worcester, too, as they are also based in Houston and Los Angeles. With their strong work ethic, they’re clearly a force to be reckoned with.

“We do hip-hop, rap, pop, RnB, dance, pretty much anything that’s hot right now on the radio,” Lotto said. “Our goals are to become the hottest production team out there. Trying to, well, not really change music, but just bring it to another level,” he added.

The team is made up of Lotto, the Producer, and Pippy, the songwriter and manager. They got their start one year ago as they decided that music was what they both wanted to do. “I’ve always been into music, and I just wanted to take it to the next step and the next level, and be out there professionally,” Lotto said. He met Pippy, who goes to school in Houston, and instantly bonded. The team works mainly through the internet, which in today’s world is easier than ever. “I’ve seen her songwriting skills and wanted to take them to the next level,” he said.

Recently the duo reached new heights when they got a publishing deal with Pig Factory Publishing based out of LA. Pig Factory deals with a lot of the music heard on many reality shows. This connection offers the possibility of huge exposure for the two.

The future seems bright for Lotto and Pippy, as they are currently working with many new artists. Some of the up and comers include: Omega Red, Killa T, Jae Nice, and local Worcester rappers Righteous & Prospect. But that’s not all. Most importantly, the duo just signed a major production deal with four-time #1 Billboard, and seventeen time platinum producer/songwriter, Eddie Galan of Mach 1 Music, who was responsible for High School Musical, the Hannah Montana soundtrack, Clique Girls, the 2008 Olympic soundtrack, and is currently working with the Backstreet Boys ~ to name but a few. To say “big time” is an understatement when talking about Galan and Mach 1.

While Lotto and Pippy’s work has yet to be featured on TV, it’s quickly becoming a question of “when” rather than “if.” With their ever expanding roster of talent, and their hard work ethic, we’ll be sure to hear about Lotto and Pippy in the future.
