Cavo D’oro
The Canal District’s Newest Hot Spot Has It All!
By Mel Pingeton
It’s the weekend and you don’t know where to go or what to do. You want to watch college football and your friends want to go dancing. But this time you don’t have to go your separate ways and meet up later ~ just go to Cavo D’oro!
Located at 64 Water Street in Worcester, Cavo D’oro is the Canal’s newest hot spot. Owned by Peter Panagiotis, it features two full bars, ten plasma TVs, and wireless internet, so there’s no need to go anywhere else (and during a cold Massachusetts winter, who wants to go bar to bar?!). Plus, where else would you see DJ Tony Rossi and DJ Joe Rossi play the hottest music? The Rossi Bros are there every Friday and Saturday night from 9 p.m. until 2 a.m.
So what’s Cavo D’oro like? Room number one has a huge bar in the middle with plenty of seating. Around the perimeter of the room are booths with huge comfy leather seats so you can sit back and watch your favorite sports teams.
Then you can walk on over to the next room where you can dance to the Rossi Bro’s music. This room has a smaller bar, booths and tables and an area that’s perfect for dancing with your friends (and don’t worry ~ there are plenty of TVs on this side too!). Regardless of whether you’re a sports fan looking to catch a game or someone who wants to party, Cavo D’oro has it all.
But it’s not just about weekend fun either! Cavo D’oro serves lunch and dinner with a menu that includes full entrées and delicious frappes for dessert.
Cavo D’oro is every place you want to be…. all in one location. If you want fun, a good time and great food, then this is the place to go!
Cavo D’oro is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, call 508.770.0009 or visit www.myspace.com/cavodoro.
