The Z Café is a chic and fresh jewel in downtown Worcester, providing locals with a quick but quality bite to eat. Whether you’re looking for a complete breakfast, something fast but filling on your lunch break, or a nice, casual meal, the Z Café is ready to serve!

Ryan Sens, who comes to us as a native of New Orleans, and Jaime Sens (formerly Jaime Kirsch), a fellow Worcester native, are the two passionate owners of this fresh and new restaurant. When an opportunity presented itself to be part of rejuvenating downtown Worcester, they jumped on it. They took the idea of mixing great food and a stylish atmosphere with revamping our good ol’ historic downtown and created something that everyone can enjoy.

Serving breakfast until 10:30 am, the Z Café has an extensive menu which includes breakfast sandwiches, a Frittata with Mini Potato Pancakes, Eggs Benedict, Eggs Florentine, and Strawberry Crepes. Don’t forget the assorted bagels with your choice of butter, preserves, cream cheese, tomato, cucumber and onion, or smoked salmon ~ truly starting off your day the most delicious way!

Ryan Sens also integrates his southern taste into everyday specials like Creole Chicken served with Andouille Sausage Jambalaya and Slightly Spicy Shrimp and paired with Corn Maque Choux. Other dishes include Port Roasted Pork Loin with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and a Port Reduction and Soy Ginger Salmon, served with a Dill Cream tossed Mixed Greens and a choice of side.

Seating up to 52, the Z Café also has a variety of salads like the innovative Poached Pear Salad and Spinach Apple Walnut Salad as well as tasty sandwiches which you can customize to your liking or order off their gourmet sandwich menu. Options include the Mushroom Chicken sandwich, Avocado Goat Cheese sandwich or the Open Face Salmon sandwich. There is definitely something for all tastes and preferences!

Not only can you get a great, mouthwatering meal here, but you don’t have to burn a hole in your wallet to do so; everything on the menu is under $9. What’s not to like about that?!

While you’re diving into the delicious food, sink into the cozy and stylish ambiance that is the Z Café. There are two separate areas which are set aside for customers’ comfort. The free Wireless Internet allows you to have some down time ~ email all your friends to tell them to come down and join you!

Looking to plan an event or work meeting? The spacious function room is a great place to have it. The room, which seats up to 30, has a complimentary 60” flat screen television which is perfect to utilize for a big work meeting or to simply add some entertainment to your party! The Z Café is also available for evening and weekend functions for groups of up to 70 people.
