If you are in a band and are interested in getting some really cool album artwork, flyers, websites, or logos created for you, then you’ve got to check out Wicked Pissah Graffix. Designer Keith Clark, using primarily Photoshop, can convert any image ~ no matter how plain ~ into an imaginative and unique piece of art. In fact, if you’ve been to The Lucky Dog, Ralph’s, or Tammany Hall recently, then you’ve seen the funky work ~ flyers, album art, photos and stickers ~ that he’s done for bands like The Franks, Amerykan Bananas, and Red in my Head.
.
“I’ve always had an interest is art, particularly sketching. About six or seven years ago I started dabbling with digital art and fell in love”. Keith says, “I’ve gotten so lost in it that I can’t remember the last time I sketched anything”.

And when it comes to commissioning an artist to help make what you and your band have envisioned a reality, dedication like Keith’s is a must. Not only does he throw himself wholly into every project, but he is constantly striving to improve his methods. “It’s six years later and I’m still learning, discovering new ways of doing things. It really keeps things fresh for me.”

All of Keith’s work shows an incredible attention to detail, and he is a stickler for professionalism, always making sure that he is conveying the proper feel for his client in each piece of art. He approaches each project as a completely new experience, and thus it’s difficult for him to predict how long a particular job will take. “For instance, a flyer can take about an hour, album art could take 5 maybe 10 hours or more, again depending upon the project. I like to get it as clean as possible and I’ll generally keep the client abreast of the progress. I like to show proofs and ask if I’m on the right track. It’s very important to me that the client is happy with the product. Ideally, I like to know a lot about the person or band for whom I’m designing, and what their tastes are. I really want to do something that suits who they are,” Keith said.

As for Keith’s plans for Wicked Pissah Graffix, he says, “It’d be nice if it were to become a full-time venture. Right now I offer some of my designs as shirts through Café Press. I rotate the designs so that each visit, you’ll hopefully see something new.”
