Pride month is here, and with it, the city is bursting with energy, celebration, events, and queer joy. Whether you’re into drag, dancing, theater, hiking, trivia, brunching, crafts, speed dating, or board games, Worcester’s Pride calendar is packed with something for everyone.
Dancing in the Streets
What’s Pride in Worcester without a little dancing under the stars? This month, the city serves not one, but two, outdoor block parties. Femme Bar kicks things off Saturday, June 7, with DJ E-Class spinning dance-floor bangers from 7pm-1am. Expect superb giveaways and seriously good vibes. This 21+ party has a $10 cover. Then, on Saturday, June 28, MB Lounge hosts its legendary Stonewall Pride Block Party. Doors open at 7pm, with a high-energy drag show hosted by DaishaDore Famouz and Robyn Millyonz at 9pm. DJ Lary will keep the beats going until 2am. This 21+ event has a $20 cover.
Drag All Month Long
Worcester’s drag scene is aglow, and June is shimmering brightly. On Saturday, June 7, head to Rushford and Sons Brewhouse for Drag Story Time at 4pm. Tuesday, June 17, The Woo Bar hosts Drag Bingo with Gem Stoner and Fat C—doors at 5pm, games at 6:30 with prizes galore, a raffle, and delicious eats. All raffle proceeds benefit Safe Homes. Hungry for more Drag Bingo? Sashay to Rushford and Sons Saturday, June 28 at 7pm. The final showdown of Worcester Drag Gauntlet 6.4 is Friday, June 27 at Electric Haze. Be wowed as finalists battle one last time for the title and a $1,000 prize. If it’s a drag brunch suits your fancy, why attend one when Worcester’s got two? On Sunday, June 29, the Cocktail Garden and Kitchen hosts Queer the Scene’s Best Little Drag Brunch in Worcester with the fabulous Victoria Obvious, DaishaDore Famouz, Diva D, and Dale LePage.
