The City of Worcester and the Worcester Cultural Coalition are pleased to announce a public
logo design contest in celebration of 10 years of summer Out to Lunch festivals on the Worcester Common Oval. The wildly popular Out to Lunch Summer Concert Series and Farmers’ Market is set to kick off in June, 2019 and will continue throughout the summer to August, 2019. The existing signature Out to Lunch logo which features bright summer colors and the Worcester City Hall clock tower will be retired as a new logo design launches the summer festival series into its next decade of exciting performance, topnotch vendors, and fantastic food.

Local artists, students, and festival participants residing in Worcester County, are invited to submit their original designs for a new Out to Lunch logo which will be used in promoting the festival series. Design submissions should reflect the festival’s artistic and cultural significance on the Common Oval and in the Worcester community. The Worcester Cultural Coalition will be awarding a $150 dollar cash prize to the selected winning submission.
The new Out to Lunch logo will be featured across major social media platforms, event advertisement campaigns, and marketing materials distributed across the community and central Massachusetts. In addition to the cash prize, the winning artist will be credited for their design during the announcement of the official logo selection.

Designs may be submitted online via the Worcester Cultural Coalition Submittable website. The deadline for submissions is Monday, February 25, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. Additional information on contest requirements and restrictions is available on the submission platform. Inquiries may be emailed to culture@worcesterma.gov.
