This week WAM presents a perfect fusion of color, light, flowers and art with Flora in Winter and the opening of Monet’s Waterloo Bridge: Vision and Process.

Flora in Winter, one of Worcester’s most beloved traditions, takes place January 24 – 27. For four days, imaginative floral displays transform the Museum into a wonderland awash in color, light, and a profusion of delicate perfumes—the perfect antidote to winter’s icy grip. Related programming is scheduled throughout the event. Flora in Winter is free for Museum members, $22 for Nonmember adults and $6 for youth. Some Flora programs and events have separate pricing. For more information, visit worcesterart.org/flora.

Monet’s Waterloo Bridge: Vision and Process features nine stellar versions of Claude Monet’s well-known series of paintings depicting London’s Waterloo Bridge, revealing the artist’s exploration of color, light, and density—qualities he found inherent in the fog-bound landscape of the River Thames. The exhibition opens to the public on January 25. Flora in Winter admission prices apply through January 27.
