Mechanics Hall invites all music-lovers back to its Fall Brown Bag Concert Series starting on Wednesday, Nov. 14. Sit back and enjoy this free concert series that includes the highest quality musicians that play a variety of genres. From jazz to folk, there is something for everyone.

Over the last 35 years, Mechanics Hall has partnered with WICN public radio, to put together these free concerts in the spring and fall. This fall, there are six scheduled concerts, each beginning at noon and lasting about an hour. Genres you can expect to hear include jazz, salsa, retro pop and jazz/cabaret.

The concert schedule is as follows:
• Wednesday, Nov. 14: Elan Trotman
• Wednesday, Nov. 21: The Laszlo Gardony Trio
• Wednesday, Nov. 28: Krisanthi Pappas
• Wednesday, Dec. 5: NEC Symphonic Winds & Chamber Singers with the U.S. Navy Band Northeast
• Wednesday, Dec. 12: Gringo Kings
• Wednesday, Dec. 19: Hook Organ and the All Saints Choir.

This is a great event to attend with family, friends or even on your lunch break!

The concerts are free, but the public is encouraged to consider a donation of a new coat for the Worcester Public Schools’ Coats for Kids drive. Donation boxes will be located in the Mechanics Hall lobby and will be available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

If you can’t make it to Mechanics Hall but still wish to listen to the concerts, you’re in luck. Each concert will be broadcast live at 90.5 FM and streamed online at winc.org.
