To celebrate the Fifth Annual “One,” ArtsWorcester has announced their summer exhibition to be held later on this week. Selected by art juror Roger Hankins, six artists will be recognized in honorarium, with works eclectic in theme and scope. Artists include:

  • Tess Barbato, $4000, oil on canvas
  • Lawrence DeJong, ECCLESIASTIC ARCHITECTURE, Fr., archival lambda c-print from film
  • Madge Evers, Untitled, mushroom spores on paper
  • Amanda Kidd Schall, Prude I, mixed media print
    with etching, monotype, and chine-collé
  • Tyler Vance, Self Portrait in Armor, oil on panel,
  • Sarah Williams, Vase (a bit of a mess), porcelain

Originally founded as the Cultural Assembly of Greater Worcester, ArtsWorcester has supported local artists for 38 years. Vibrant and historical in location and scope, ArtsWorcester is no stranger to creativity. The entire collection amounts to 144 works of art. These are to be on view this Thursday, Friday, Saturday 12-4 pm, and by appointment through June 15.
