Carolyn Waters is a performing singing/songwriter who fuses blues/jazz/root and other musical genres into a unique unforgettable blend of songs and sounds.

“Powerful,” “soulful,” “rare,” “head-turning,” “captivating” and “compelling” are just a few of the superlatives used to describe her as she strives to find her place and make her mark in the world of music.

Performing solo and with various accompanying musicians Waters has performed in venues of many sizes and setting including galas, coffeehouses, festivals, clubs and more. She has also had the privilege to open for a number of celebrated acts, including Tom Rush and Judy Collins, Charles Williams, Kate Campbell and David Rovics.

Waters will perform at the Coffeelands World Gifts Café, 50 High St., Clinton, from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 7.

Musical events at the Coffeelands Café run from 7-8:30 p.m. There is no cover charge, but “pass the hat” donations are accepted for the musicians.

The Coffeelands World Gifts Espresso Café is a social enterprise project of the Polus Center for Social and Economic Development, which provides opportunities for people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups. In addition to serving specialty drinks, soups and sandwiches, the Café provides employment opportunities and sells unique fair trade products from coffee regions around the world.
