Recently given a facelift, the landmark Worcester location on Highland Street now boasts an upbeat, urban chic décor and trendy vibe! They’ve also brought “Third Wave” coffee to Worcester with individual “pourover” coffee, of your selection, brewed by the cup and deliciously bold. The coffee bar even makes their own chocolate sauce for all the decadent mochas, using premium dark all natural Swiss chocolate with no preservatives. A demitasse serving of warm chocolate is also available for sipping over great conversation with a friend. The bakery continues to offer a large variety of insanely luscious desserts ~ gourmet cupcakes, cookies, cakes, and other yummy baked goods ~ made from scratch by their award winning pastry chefs. For those with diet restrictions, a fresh variety of gluten-free and vegan baked goods are available daily.
Bean Counter Bakery is also well-known for their award-winning custom wedding cakes (“Best of The Knot” 2010, 2011 & 2012 and “Wedding Wire Bride’s Choice” 2011 & 2012) and specialty cakes. The pastry team is so busy creating their confectionary works of art (check out their cake gallery on the Bakery’s website, listed below) that they’ve even declined the Food Network’s offer to appear on some of the channel’s most popular dessert-centric shows.
