Every college has its own clubs and organizations for students to join, and let’s face it ~ sometimes they have so many that it’s hard to choose! Definitely take a look at all of them, and check out our list below of some of the stand-outs.
Assumption Asylum ~ For those who are into or would like to try their hand at improv comedy.
Phoenix ~ Assumption’s literary magazine. The journal features poetry, short fiction, artwork and more.
Capoeira Club ~ Capoeira is a Brazilian art form that combines martial arts, dance, gymnastics and music, creating an art form that is both beautiful and deadly. No prior experience is necessary!
Co-Ed Ultimate Frisbee ~ Need we say more? Who doesn’t love throwing around a Frisbee every now and again with some campus hotties?
Up ‘til Dawn ~ Looking to give back to the community? Up ‘til Dawn runs various fundraisers throughout the year to raise money for the St. Jude Children Research Hospital.

Bowling Club ~ A great way to meet other Becker students. There is no cost for bowling, and based on students’ interest, the club may also join a league.
Traditional Gaming Club ~ For those who prefer their games sans a monitor. Join other students in various tabletop games including Warhammer 40K and more.
Habitat for Humanity ~ A fun way to participate in community service! Travel to another state and help build affordable housing for low-income families.
Hawk TV ~ Becker’s own on-campus TV channel. Spread the word of Hank the Hawk!
Dance Team ~ Learn various styles of dance including jazz, tap, lyrical and more!

Art Club ~ Discuss various types of artwork and showcase your own talent.
Aspiring Bakers and Chefs Club ~ Learn new recipes and create your own delicious treats!
Circle of Techs ~ A meeting of the minds for those who are uber tech-savvy.
Aikido Club ~ A wonderful Japanese martial art, Aikido is fun and easy to pick up! Plus, it’s a great work out!
Outdoor Club ~ Explore Worcester and surrounding towns with other nature lovers.

The Crusader ~ A weekly newspaper published by students of the Holy Cross. Why not share your two cents?
Ballroom Dancing ~ Learn to fox trot, swing, waltz, mambo, rhumba, cha-cha, tango and more!

Sailing Club ~ Cruise the open waters of Lake Quinsigamond and learn to sail.
