Two beautiful orphaned identical twins, Maria and Frieda Gellhorn move to the village of Karnstein to live with their uncle Gustav Weil (played by Hammer horror favorite Peter Cushing), a fanatical puritan and leader of the local witch-hunting “Brotherhood.” The village Count (Damien Thomas of Never Let Me Go), an evil man who secretly practices Satanism, uses black magic and transforms into a vampire. Unhappy with her new life, Frieda seeks escape and tragically falls under the spell of the Count. Now overcome with an insatiable hunger for human blood, Frieda has to hide her secret from her sister, and escape her uncle’s killing grasp!

Actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt May Star in Warner Bros. Remake of Little Shop of Horrors
Actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt is being seriously considered to star in Warner Bros.’ remake of Little Shop of Horrors. Marc Platt, producer behind Broadway’s “Wicked” and such films as Wanted and Legally Blonde, is producing. He recently produced Drive and is currently in pre-production on the Mark Wahlberg-Denzel Washington film 2 Guns.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt would play the lead role of nerdy florist Seymour Krelborn, forced to feed a people-eating plant that offers him fame and fortune in return.
Gordon-Levitt has developed a following at Warner Bros.’ after key roles in Inception and this summer’s Dark Knight Rises.
Entertainment Manager Ken Capurso also has an eye on Little Shop as he readies NE Patriot Danny Woodhead for a possible role as one of the people eating plant’s victims.
