My first question to Master Hypnotist Dan Candell was, of course, “Who can be hypnotized?” His answer? “Hypnotizing individuals during the show is a process that begins with the volunteer’s approval. Nobody can ever be hypnotized against his or her will. Every person who has a desire and a minimum IQ of 60 may be hypnotized.” And Candell knows of what he speaks: in addition to being an entertainer, he is also a Certified Hypnotherapist who helps people in his private practice to stop smoking, lose weight, eliminate fears, control stress and anxiety, and achieve their full potential.

Candell is making his one and only appearance in Worcester at Quinsig, hypnotizing and reading the minds of curious/brave/dubious audience members alike.

Said Candell, “I’m excited to bring our show ‘Hypnosis Gone Wild’ to Quinsigamond Community College. During the show we will have fun and lots of laughs and I will work with anyone that would like to experience this special altered state of consciousness! Proceeds of the show will go to benefit [QCC] Dental Hygiene Class of 2012.”

What can you expect from “Hypnosis Gone Wild?” Dan, who has shown his skills on stages all across the country, combines the fun of total audience participation with the incredible abilities of the mind. You will laugh and applaud your friends and family up on stage…and maybe even find yourself up there with them! You’ll also see your fellow students as you’ve probably never seen them before, as Candell has the skill to transform the quietest introvert into an attention-seeking extrovert and the biggest flirt on campus into a shy nerd!

Candell is looking forward to putting on this show for such a good cause and said, “I hope to see everyone at the show, and oh yes, it is for real. If you have any doubts, join us and volunteer!”
