The main event of the Fan Fest will be an all-women’s wrestling event presented by IndyGurlz Wrestling, featuring some of the best female professional wrestlers in the world today, including an International women’s dream match of champion Mercedes Martinez battling the Canadian star Portia Perez.

The night will be capped off by PWF Northeast Pro Wrestling presenting “Convergence”, a professional wrestling event featuring local independent stars and nationally-recognized professional wrestling stars and legends. Former WWE stars Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, The Honkytonk Man, Luke Gallows, and Kenny Dykstra will all be in action. PWF Northeast’s Director of Special Events Spencer Jawitz has been a driving force in the planning of this event: “A few years back, my mother was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. To be able to combine something I love [pro wrestling] and supporting a charity my entire family supports… it was sort of a no brainer.”

Maironis Park is a full-service function hall; a cash bar and food will be available throughout the day, provided by the award-winning South Street Café based in Providence, RI.

Information about the event is available at www.pwfnewrestling.com and www.pwfnewrestling.com/teamfox2011.html.
