ent-jackyl-the-hardest-wor-copyJackyl ~ proud to be a band that’s “…full of spit and swagger ~ [with] a “dirty” sense of humor to boot…” ~ has announced summer touring plans that will bring their nasty Southern sound to hundreds of thousands of fans.

Formed in 1990, the Georgia quartet ~ Jesse Dupree, Vox, Jeff Worley, Guitar, Roman Glick, Bass, and Chris Worley, Drums ~ has enjoyed a career stretching two decades, bringing a hybrid of Southern metal to millions.  From the band’s debut in 1992 via Geffen Records (who can forget  “The Lumberjack,” during which vocalist Jesse James Dupree performed a chain-saw solo both in live shows and on the album, making it one of the band’s trademarks ~ and, when combined with a list of touring mates that included Aerosmith, Kiss, ZZ Top, Ted Nugent and Damn Yankees ~ gave them the rep of a no-holds barred bunch of guys who were always up for a good time!) through today, they are [in]famous for being one of the hardest working bands in rock.  In fact, the band earned two Guinness Book of World Records citations and the designation “The Hardest Working Band in Rock n Roll” for performing 100 shows in 50 days as well as 21 shows in 24 hours.

Lead singer Jesse James Dupree may now be the hardest working man in rock, too: he’s launched Jesse James: America’s Outlaw Beer and spends time co-producing and appearing on the hit TRUtv series “Full Throttle Saloon.” The unfiltered wheat beer is crisp and refreshing, with an extremely soft finish in the tradition of the best craft brewers.  The recipe calls for 40% malted wheat, combined with a blend of Pale, Caramel, and Munich malts.  Wilamette, Fuggles and Cascade hops offer the deliver the perfect balance for America’s Outlaw Beer (5.5% alcohol by volume).  “Full Throttle Saloon” is, well, c’mon, what do you think?  It’s a behind-the-scenes mayhem at Michael Ballard’s legendary biker watering hole in Sturgis, South Dakota…and by “mayhem,” we mean “MAYHEM,” but would you really expect any less from Mr. Jesse James Dupree, a chain-saw wielding Southern rocker??
