Club InStyle Brings Back Sophistication

By Megan Oliver

image002-copyA stylish and contemporary makeover of the old Club Red 1888, located at 41 Pleasant Street in Worcester, has transformed the space into a completely new nighttime destination: Club InStyle.  Owners Fred Khaledi and Harry Harjni designed the venue to bring a “…fresh new look for Worcester,” according to Khaledi.  As I met with him in his back office, workers were hammering and painting away, creating a two-story sophisticated club with two large, trendy bar spaces, two DJ booths, plasma TVs, and a chic White Room topped off with an opulent chandelier.  Khaledi made sure to acknowledge that without his wife Kimberley, and head of security Kenny Reynolds, the fabulous club and highly anticipated grand opening would not have been possible.

The club, which exudes class and style as its name suggests, caters to the 21 plus crowd,  but Khaledi expects that it will especially appeal to a slightly older audience by coupling main stream Top 40 artists and DJs with the best of local live talent. The cover, charged only on certain nights, is reasonable, as are drink prices ~ and parking is a mere $5.

The club’s number one goal is impeccable customer service. The Club InStyle experience is synonymous with first class service and delighted customers. The full bar (and get ready to experience some amazing specialty drinks that Khaledi has up his sleeve) is available Thursday through Saturday, 9pm to 2am. The fashionable White Room is available for parties and numerous other functions. Table service is also available; having your own personal server makes the InStyle experience truly special.  Since its packed opening in December, Club InStyle has rapidly become the spot to meet and mingle with the sophisticated crowd, as Khaledi is drawing in patrons from his Providence club and from the Boston area with red carpet promoting. As Khaledi said, “A lot of night clubs don’t have the service, you get your drink and that’s it. Club InStyle is different, we are about happy customers and a good time.”
