zombie-bomb4-copyIf this face seems familiar, that’s because it is; Adam Miller was featured in our November 2008 issue for his contributions to a charity art exhibition at the Aurora Gallery on Main Street. Just two years later, Miller’s making headlines again, but for a much different subject matter…

ZOMBIES! Introducing ZombieBomb! Comic Anthology,  the brain child (all puns intended) of Adam Miller and Rich Woodall,  first came to life after Miller met Terminal Press owner Brian Ferrera on the convention scene a few years back. “I ran the idea for a zombie anthology by him and his thought was that if we were crazy enough to pull this off, he’d publish it. He didn’t think we’d actually do it,” Miller laughs.

Well, they did. With a horde of artistic allies at their backs, Miller, Woodall and their dedicated crew of zombie bombers have set the wheels in motion for six installments, three of which are already available at Terminal Press. “We’re just coming up on a year since we got the green light on this project. It’s been kind of a whirlwind,” reflects Miller. “In the span of almost a calendar year, I basically went from hawking my stuff around conventions, trying to get anyone interested, to being Creative Director for a publisher [Terminal Press]. Instead of trying to land an assignment, I’m literally handing assignments out. It’s a ton of work but it’s well worth it.” The demand to be a contributor to the ZombieBomb! project is overwhelming; Miller receives piles of emails with the Subject line “zombie” every day. People are literally chomping at the bit to get themselves in on some ZombieBomb! action!

zombie-bomb9-copyGoing forward, Miller has been meeting with Nuclear Blast bands for upcoming publications. This actually brings Miller full circle; his contributing pin-up for Dimmu Borgir’s (Nuclear Blast) Dark Fortress preview, a short clip released to showcase the then-upcoming Terminal Press comic release, was his first brush with Terminal and their  Nuclear Blast license. Now, Miller is proud to announce a highly-anticipated collaboration with Swedish metal masters Soilwork, tentatively due for release in April of 2011. There are more exciting Nuclear Blast band collaborations on the horizon, so keep your rotting little ears peeled.

As for this month, issue #4 of the ZombieBomb! Comic Anthology is debuting at Midtown Comics in Manhattan, NYC, on December 18th. While you await the newest undead offering, bolt over to www.terminalpress.com to choose from the growing selection of mutilated masterpieces (they make ghoulishly delightful holiday gifts), and keep your eyes on this crew of insanely talented and twisted zombie mongers.
