Looking for a great tasting and refreshing organic brew? Fuller’s Organic Honey Dew arrived at USA distributors and has been on retail shelves since August, but the arrival was not without its red tape. After substantial success in England, Fuller’s originally tried to launch Organic Honey Dew in the U.S. for the summer of 2008. However, US regulatory review of “organic” certifications created documentation hurdles lasting nearly two years. Organic certification of Fuller’s English malts and hops were readily available; however, certification of Fuller’s natural, organic honey, as imported from Argentina, proved to be quite a challenge.
So with their “organic” pedigree now fully established, Argentina’s bees are now 100% authorized to produce their sweet nectar in support of Fuller’s Organic Honey Dew for USA importation. Fuller’s Organic Honey Dew, the number one selling organic beer in Britain, is made with all organic ingredients including malt, hops and honey. English malt creates a light, toasty, nutty aroma and flavor. Organic hops combine with the natural honey to round out the flavors finish. Light and delightfully refreshing, Fuller’s 100% organic Honey Dew is sure to become a favorite in the US as it has become in Britain and Europe.
According to the Nutrition Business Journal, organic beer sales are definitely on the increase in the USA, increasing 21% in 2008 to $41 million. If you’re interested in more information on organic beer sales growth in the US, check out www.thedailygreen.com/environmental-news/latest/
