Life Lessons, Stories, and…Most of All…FASHION!

By Steph Turner

Grim Days was inspired by Grimley, creator Jodie Wilson’s real-life adorable misfit Boston Terrier, a loveable but unfortunate misfit who is always getting into trouble no matter how good her intentions are. Her huge bat-like ears end up being both her blessing and her curse ~ they make her immeasurably cute (with a gothic kinda feel) but manage to trip her up in ways reminiscent of Disney’s adorable  Dumbo.

In Grim Days, Grimley’s misadventures take her from the cozy and quiet bed she calls home to finding and misinterpreting books about witchcraft with which she unknowingly conjures up new characters that act as both friends and enemies. But in the world of Grim Days, it’s hard to tell which friends are enemies and which enemies might end up as friends. But when your days are forever grim, you sometimes just take what you can get.

Her actions all have consequences, some of which may seem negative, but in the end, all her experiences are the types of life lessons we all can learn from ~ Grim Days is a foray into the mind of the misunderstood and accident-prone loner with a heart of gold.

Grim Days is more than just the story of Grimley, however. Grim Days features t-shirts and clothing for us humans. With each storyline that is released on the website www.grimdays.com, new merchandise will be released to reflect Grimley’s further calamities and misadventures.

Grim Days is a lifestyle and culture dedicated to the misfit in our lives whether they’re human beings (even ourselves!) or animals. Check out the Grim Days website every day to see what Grimley’s written in her diary and watch her story unfold. It’ll make you laugh, it’ll make you cry, it’ll make you realize that your life isn’t NEARLY as bad as you might think it is!

To read Grimley’s diary, check out the whole line of Grim tees, tanks, and dresses, all available with a variety of Grimley poses and sayings, and to order your Grim gear, check out www.grimdays.com.
Remember… sometimes you just have to Grim and Bear it!!

Jodie Wilson, the creator of GRIM DAYS, has spent close to 20 years in the music industry, working for power-house bands including Rob Zombie, Powerman 5000, Audioslave, Jurassic 5, and Monster Magnet. Wilson took a break from the music industry in 2007 and spent a year working with world renowned artist/designer Paul Frank on his new design company, Tree Stitch Design.  After the year spent with Paul Frank, Wilson was more inspired to continue her work and has now allotted time to work on her labor of love ~ GRIM DAYS ~ based on her own dog Grimley, a rambunctious Boston Terrier full of piss and vinegar.
