December can be dreary. If you are looking for a way to defy the cold weather and warm up for the holiday season, join Special Olympics Massachusetts in their annual Jolly Jaunt on December 6th.The Jolly Jaunt is a 5K run/walk that benefits Special Olympics Massachusetts athletes. All proceeds raised from the event help fund uniforms, equipment, year-round training and competition costs for these athletes.

Special Olympics Massachusetts invites runners and walkers to bring their friends and family and to wear their best holiday attire ~ you know, like jingle bells and red-felted hats. Participants will be rewarded with a post-run holiday party at Union Station complete with fun prizes and free food.

To register or make a donation, visit the event’s Worcester headquarters at www.kintera.org/faf/home/default.asp?ievent=273790 or call 413-747-8946 for more information.
