How’s this for a weekly line-up? To start off its Tuesday Night College Night, The Irish Times gives you Tuesday Night Trivia plus Karaoke and an Open Mic (downstairs) and a live DJ at Rehab (upstairs). Local fave Terry Brennan plays you through Thirsty Thursdays, and the best cover bands in New England rock your Friday and Saturday nights on the downstairs stage. End the weekend on a high note with the Eastern Poker Tour beginning Sunday at 7pm.
DJ Joe Rossi spins it up for Ladies Night every Thursday at Barnone. Fridays are dedicated to an Old School Tribute, and Sophistasexy Saturdays feature the sexiest (of course!) in your dance, hip hop, and pop requests.
The revamped Tammany Hall might have changed its look, but one thing hasn’t changed ~ it still brings us the best in local live music. As if that weren’t enough, there’s also Tuesday Night Open Mic and Wednesday Night Poker (starting at 7pm).
Don’t let Mondays get you down, head over to Lucky Dog for Karaoke Monday Nights with Punky. The fun starts at 9pm. Come back on Wormtown Wednesdays for Open Mic, and then catch Flock of A**holes onstage every Thursday night.
Creegan’s Pub hosts dart leagues on Tuesday and Wednesday nights with a tournament every Sunday…and you can play billiards any night of the week, as always.
If you like your Mondays metal, break out the Aqua Net and Spandex and make a beeline to Fitchburg for The Compound’s Metal Mondays. Hit The ‘Pound the next night for Tuesday Night Karaoke w/Jimmy P., too. Jamm’n 94.5’s Hustle Simmons is in the club on Fridays, and MTV’s DJ Reckless and Supa spin with live music onstage upstairs on Saturdays.
Got pool? Breakaway Billiards does, every Monday, Saturday and Sunday. Tuesdays mixes things up with a mixed dart league and a weekly Texas Hold ‘Em Card league. Wednesdays you’ll find a women’s dart league, and on Thursdays it’s Karaoke with Jimmy P.
Are you a trivia buff? Then Benders Bar’s Saturday Nights Trivia with Punky and Kyle is for you ~ and don’t forget there’s music and dancing all weekend long.
Not that you need reminding, but Vincent’s has great acoustic music all week long starting with Andy Cummings on Tuesday night, continuing with Frank Morey and his band on Wednesdays, Night Train on Thursdays, and then always a local favorite taking the stage on Saturdays and Sundays. And Have Blues, Will Travel with Jon Short is the perfect way to cap off your weekend.
McGuire’s brings Karaoke to the bar every Saturday night from 9pm to close, so get ready to show your singing chops!
Want to dance? Every Thursday night it’s an 18+ college dance party at Club Red with DJ Xkaliber (bringin’ the hottest in hip hop, Top 40, rock, R & B, mash-ups and the best old school) ~ Doors open at 10:30pm, so bring your school ID and get reduced admission, how cool is that! Friday nights in the Red Room feature Bongos with DJ Fahaldo (get ready for Reggaeton, Bachata, Merengue, and Salsa), and the Blu Room presents the Official Hip Hop Jump-Off with DJ Chuck Chillin. Get extra sexy on Sinful Saturdays, when showing some skin will get you in.
Now how can you beat 10 cent wings! Eat your fill at Funky Murphy’s on Sunday and Monday nights ~ and on Sundays, you’ll get to enjoy Terry Brennan singing Irish music at the same time.
Warm up your pipes every Tuesday night at Blu Ultralounge on Water Street with Karaoke ~ then enjoy Martinis with Mama and a dance party on Wednesdays. Things get even hotter on Thursdays with The Steam Room Dance Party with Patrick Allen, and the heat continues with High Voltage Friday nights with DJ Mike Electra and Stupid Saturdays with DJ Tony T. End your weekend with a bang with Lady Sabrina’s Lip Sync contest and a dance party with host Patrick Allen on Sunday night.
