It should be easy to keep warm this winter with the nights heating up around the city. Over at McFadden’s things are staying hot with Throw Back Thursdays and $ 1 Jell-o shots, and you can cool down again with the Ice Luge.

Breakaway Billiards is running the APA pool league every Monday night, Tuesday it’s Dart League and a weekly Texas Hold-em league starting at 7 p. m. The ladies take over Wednesday nights for their Dart League, Thursday it’s Karaoke with Jimmy P, and Friday and Saturday bring live bands to the stage. Sunday nights it’s more pool and poker.

The Irish Times continues its Tuesday night trivia run, and it’s also college night with dancing spring break giveaways. Every Friday it’s “Rehab Gone Wild” with cash prizes, and Sunday is the Eastern Poker Tour, a World Series of Poker event qualifier. Plus you’ll always find DJ Soup spinning every weekend upstairs at Rehab.

Funky Murphy’s is still offering local music, all the games on the plasmas, wing specials, and dancing every night. Over at Jose Murphy’s the dance scene heats up every night too.

Over at the Lucky Dog Music Hall Flock of A**holes is tearing up the stage every Thursday. Wormtown Wednesdays’ Open Mic and Karaoke Mondays are the other mainstays of the stage. Aside from that, check out the live local music every night of the week.

Get the weekend started on Thursday nights at Club Red with the 18+ college party. DJ Xkaliber mixes top 40, hip hop, R & B, and old school classics, with doors opening at 10:30. Fridays in the Red Room it’s Bongos with DJ Fahaldo spinning Reggaeton, Bachata, Merengue, and Salsa, and in the Blu room it’s “The Official HipHop Jumpoff” with DJ Chuck Chillin. Heaven and Hell Saturday Nights heat up with DJ Hood-e mixing hip hop, R & B, reggae and Top 40 in the Red Room and DJ One-3 in the Blu Room spinning house, mash-ups, and old school classics.

The Compound is stepping up and hosting a food drive leading up to Thanksgiving. It’s to benefit Our Fathers House, so be sure to stop by with some canned good and non-perishable food items, then get ready to rock. Metal Mondays are the place to be to start the week off right. Tuesday it’s karaoke with Jimmy P. and then it’s time for the weekend. Friday it’s Jammn’ 94.5’s Hustle Simmons in the club, and Saturday features MTV’s DJ Reckless and Supa spinning the Compound Remix, with ladies getting in free before 11.

Metal fans, be sure to check out Ralph’s Chadwick Square Diner’s Metal Thursdays, taking place the first and third Thursday of every month. There’s always live music going on at Ralph’s, or if you’re in the mood for something a little more relaxed check out Vincent’s every Sunday evening for some great acoustic music.

The Hotel Vernon is bringing great live, local music to the historic Ship Room every weekend, including the popular First Fridays, happening the first Friday of every month. Wednesday’s Saucy Stacy is still heating up the bar with her popular open mic night.

Tammany Hall continues open mic every Tuesday, Wednesday it’s poker night, and Thursday night is college night, with live music going all weekend.

Monday and Tuesday nights at Bender’s Bar and Grill it’s free wings night. Wednesday night the competition’s heating up for trivia night with Punky and Kyle, and Thursday it’s dancing with DJ Bobby J. The weekend kicks off with a dance party Friday night with JP and shot girls, and Saturday it’s more dancing with a live DJ. Sunday is karaoke night.

Bar None features live DJs Thursday through Saturday with Old School Fridays and Sophistisexy Saturdays with DJ Joe Rossi. The club also features Networking After Hours and V.I.P. parties.

Blu on Water Street features the hottest weekdays around starting with Tuesday night karaoke. Wednesdays it’s Martinis with Mama and a dance party, then Steam Room Dance Party Thursdays with Patrick Allen. The weekend turns the heat up even higher with High Voltage Friday nights with DJ Mike Electra. Rounding out the weekend is Stupid Saturdays with DJ Tony T and Sunday’s Lip Sync contest with your host Lady Sabrina and a dance party with Patrick Allen.
