Now that the weather is getting colder it’s time to heat things up around town. Check out what’s new and go out and have some fun!
This month over at Red 1888 every Thurs night it’s College Party with DJ Xkaliber, Friday it’s Bongo’s two- clubs-in-one with DJ Chuck Chillin in the Blu Room and DJ Fajaldo in the red room playing salsa, merengue, bachata, reggaeton and more. Round out the week with Heaven and Hell Saturdays with DJ ONE 3 spinning house, music mashups, Top 40, and dance in the Blu Room, and DJ Hood-E spinning Top 40, mash-ups, hip hop, R & B and old school in the Red Room
There are big changes at the Lucky Dog with Flock of A**holes, the awesome 80s tribute, taking over Thursday nights. Monday night karaoke with Punky continues and ~ as always ~ Wormtown Wednesdays’ Open Mic is a perfect Hump Day distraction.
The Compound Sundays start nice and early at 7 p. m. with DJ Kilo in Club Down Under. Metal Mondays rock the house every week, and Tues it’s karaoke with Jimmy P. Wed is Bike Night with free pool all night, and Thursdays there’s a free phone card giveaway to the first 15 customers with Mickey Shea’s and The Pound entertaining. Friday it’s Jammn’ 94.5’s Hustle Simmons in the club, and Saturday features MTV’s DJ Reckless and Supa spinning the Compound Remix, with free entrance for the ladies until 11 p. m.
Over at McFadden’s all the games are on with drink and dinner specials. Ralph’s Chadwick Square Diner features Metal Thursdays the first and third Thurs of every month. Tammany Hall has open mic every Tues, poker night every Wed and college night every Thurs.
Breakaway Billiards in Clinton features a Mon pool league, Tues. dart league and Texas Hold ‘Em tournament starting at 7 p. m., and a women’s dart league every Wed. Thurs it’s karaoke with Jimmy P, and live bands rock Fri and Sats. Sunday brings another pool league and poker game.
Voodoo Nightclub features College Night every Thurs, Friday is 18+ International night, Sat night it’s Top 40 and dance and Sun night is Reggae Fusion.
The Hotel Vernon brings great live acoustic music from local favorites the first Fri of every month, and every Wed it’s open mic with Saucy Stacy.
Bender’s Bar and Grill is now serving food seven nights a week. Mon and Tues they’re serving up free wings, Wed it’s trivia night with Punky and Kyle, and Thurs it’s dancing with DJ Bobby J. The weekend kicks off with a dance party Friday night with JP and shot girls, and Saturday it’s more dancing with a live DJ. Sunday is karaoke night.
The 80s Lounge features a gameroom, lounge, and dancing, and the games are always on. Stogies Cigar Bar is now open Wednesday through Saturday from 5pm to close and Sunday from 1pm to 8pm.
Bar None features live DJs Thursday through Saturday with Old School Fridays and Sophistisexy Saturdays. They also feature networking after hours and complimentary WiFi.
Irish Times continues its Tuesday Night Trivia series and 18+ college night. Wednesday it’s 18+ Holy Cross Night, and Thirsty Thursdays feature Terry Brennan and Johnny Mac in Rehab. Fri and Satalways have the best cover bands in New England.
Over at Blu, Tues night is karaoke night, Wed it’s Martinis with Mama and a dance party, Thurs it’s a Steam Room Dance Party with Patrick Allen. Fri is High Voltage night with DJ Mike Electra. Rounding out the weekend is Stupid Saturdays with DJ Tony T and Sunday’s Lip Sync contest with your host Lady Sabrina and a dance party with Patrick Allen.
Fusion is bringing the dance party every Fri and Sat, featuring Top 40, retro, and dance starting at 11pm and going all night.
