The Colleges of Worcester Consortium and the Shrewsbury Street Merchants’ Association have partnered to create the college version of annual favorite The Taste of Shrewsbury Street. The Taste of Shrewsbury Street College Stroll, held exclusively for the college community (including students, faculty, staff and families), is part of the on-going initiative to create a positive shared experience for all Worcester-area college students.

For the cost of a $10 button (contact your Student Activities Office for more information on purchasing buttons and on transportation offered from individual schools), you can take part in the traditional Shrewsbury Street stroll while meeting up with old friends and making new ones. During the stroll (noon ‘til 3pm), performing groups from local school (including such as Assumption’s a capella group and Clark’s Dance Society) will be providing entertainment, as will local bands from 3 – 5pm in Cristoforo Columbo (East) Park. What better way to explore one of Worcester’s legendary streets, get some sun and fresh air, and enjoy great food and entertainment along the way.
