Heat up your summer nights with Bar None’s Friday night Tribute to the Old School, with an old school dance party with DJ Xcalibur bringing you the best of 80s and 90s dance and hip-hop. Sophista-Saturdays set the bar with DJ Joe Rossi spinning the best dance, pop, and hip-hop by request.

Tuesdays at Tammany Hall open mic night continues, get there early to sign up. Wednesday night poker lovers can get their game on with the Eastern Poker Tour at 7 p.m. Thursdays it’s live music with Mike and Pat McCann presents, and Friday after work stop by for a cocktail and enjoy Dave Brunyak and Jeff Mayer on stage.

Join other Red Sox fans at McFadden’s where you can be surrounded by the game and grab a burger and a domestic draft beer all for six bucks.

Over at the Compound there’s something going on every night of the week. Tuesday brings karaoke with Jimmy P. and Wednesday night Open Mic Night with Bean continues. Fridays DJ Reckless spins in the club, and Saturdays it’s Jamn 94.5’s Hustle Simmons on the turntables.

The Lucky Dog Music Hall will be rocking out all summer with fan favorite Mullethead on Thursday nights and Flock of A**holes every Sunday. Monday night is karaoke night, and Wormtown Wednesdays continue as one of the city’s favorite open mic nights.

Over at Ralph’s Chadwick Square Diner Rock Club Metal Thursday happens twice a month, with performances from your favorite local metal bands.

Funky Murphy’s is a great place to enjoy some live local music in a laid-back atmosphere. Every Wednesday night it’s Jediah from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday starting at 8 p.m. it’s local favorite Terry Brennan singing everything from classics to Irish favorites. Sunday and Monday nights offer 10 cent wings, and Friday and Saturday night the whole place is rockin’.

Tuesday Night Trivia continues at the Irish Times with prizes awarded every week. Wednesday night is College Night with karaoke and DJ Soup spinning at Rehab. For Thirsty Thursdays it’s Terry Brennan entertaining downstairs while Johnny Mac is upstairs at Rehab.

Vincent’s has always been a great place for a relaxing drink or a great meatball sandwich, and acoustic performances by local musicians are another reasons to hit the bar on Friday and Saturday nights.

McGuire’s is a great stop for a refreshing beverage, and they have karaoke every Saturday from 9 p.m. to close.

Club Red is the place to be Thursday nights for the college crowd. It’s 18+ and they offer reduced admission with a college ID. Bongo Fridays brings a party with two clubs in one. DJ Chuck Chillin brings hip-hop, R&B, reggae, and old-school to the Blu Room, DJ Fajaldo brings salsa, meringue, bachata, reggaeton, and more to the Red Room, and Heaven and Hell Saturdays brings DJ ONE3 to the Blu Room with house music, mash-ups and top 40 dance while in the Red Room DJ Hood-E spins top 40, hip-hop, mash-ups, R&B, and old-school.

Bender’s Bar and Grill offers free wings every Monday and Tuesday night. Wednesday night it’s open mic, and Thursday you can Mix It Up with DJ Bobby J. Friday night it’s a Dance Party with your host JP and the Shot Girls. Saturday night there’s a live DJ, and Sunday is karaoke night.
