April showers bring May flowers, and with them comes something to do pretty much any night of the week. At Bar None every Thursday night it’s Ladies’ Night. DJ Rossi spins an old school tribute every Friday, and Sophistisexy Saturdays feature the newest hip hop, pop, and dance.
Over at the Lucky Dog Monday night Karaoke is as strong as ever. Wormtown Wednesday continues, and Mullethead %*&$ing sucks every Thursday. Fridays Flock of A**holes takes the stage for plenty of your favorite 80s covers.
The Compound hosts Tuesday night Karaoke and Wednesday Open Mic Night with Bean. In the club on Friday’s it’s MTV’s DJ Reckless, and Saturday it’s Jamn 94.5’s Hustle Simmons.
Tammany Hall has plenty of entertainment for us music buffs. Tuesday night is Open Mic, so get there early to sign up. Wednesday night it’s local favorites Sam James & Dusty Cobb, and Thursday night it’s Mike and Pat McCann Presents.
Voodoo Nightclub offers 18+ college night every Thursday. Fridays it’s Exotic Fridays featuring DJ Uneek spinning hip hop, reggae, r & b, reggaeton dance hall and Top 40. Saturday is Latin Explosion featuring DJs from WORC 1310 with Top 40, salsa, hip hop, and reggaeton.
Sh-Booms hosts 18+ Finally Fridays in Club Déjà Vu.
Over at the Lights, Saturday night is LMB Music with Top 40, house, r & b, hip hop, reggae. Thursday and Friday features DJ Nomar.
Every Sunday night the Java Hut host the Poets’ Asylum. Foobar is offering free wings every Monday and Tuesday night. The Hotel Vernon’s Wednesday night open mic continues, and keep your eyes out for hip hop nights hosted by Bobo of SaveHipHop.org.
