Mayor Joe Petty’s Political Breakfast and Roast

 On March 10, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., the Annual Political Breakfast and Potluck  is presented by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, and located at the Fiddlers’ Green Pub/Worcester Hibernian Cultural Centre on 19 Temple St., Worcester.   The event benefits the Worcester County St. Patrick’s Parade Committee.  Purchasing a ticket will provide you with live music by Mulligan Stew, a special performance by the McInerney School of Irish Dance, food, raffles, and lots of fun.

Worcester County St. Patrick’s Parade

On March 11, from 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Worcester will be hosting their annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.  The parade will begin at the intersection of Mill St. and Park Ave., and end at the intersection of Highland St. and Park Ave.  Dress in green and come on down to the event celebrated by the local community!

There will also be a Best Crowd Contest, where you and your friends/local businesses will be judged on their parade spirit, enthusiasm, best use of the color green, and promoting the family atmosphere of the parade.  Winners will receive an outdoor banner displaying “Best Crowd 2018 – Worcester County St. Patrick’s Parade”, a trophy to be presented at the Parade’s annual Awards Breakfast in the fall, and will also receive two complimentary tickets to the Awards Breakfast!

Wormtown Grand Prix 3: Celtic 5K and Post-Run Party

On March 11, the Wormtown Milers will be hosting the Celtic 5K.  The race will begin at 11 a.m., and will start and end at Elm Park, Worcester.  After the race, all are welcome to come to the Post-Race Party at the Compass Tavern from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.,

St. Patrick’s Day Assault Bike Challenge

On March 17, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m., the Worcester Kettlebell Club will be hosting the St. Patrick’s Day Assault Bike Challenge.  The class, located on 88 Shrewsbury St.,  is open to all and requires groups of two in order to complete the timed mile assault bike ride!  After the class, come and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and your successful workout at Wormtown Brewery.

2018 Emerald Club Beer Garden

On March 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Emerald Club hosts their 3rd Annual Beer Garden.  The event will be located on Park Ave. Worcester, at the finish line of the Celtic 5K and the end of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade route!  Come and enjoy a beer with the Worcester Community!

7th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Party

On March 17, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., The Monument Tap will be hosting their 7th Annual St Patrick’s Day Party to benefit the Leominster Firefighters Local 1841 Community Outreach Program!  The event is located at 13 Central St, Leominster and is sure to be a good time!  Come down for some food and entertainment by Dave Gordon.  The event is sure to be a good time!

A Musical Taste of Irish Culture

On March 10, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., the Worcester Public Library will be hosting a live musical performance by Tim Loftus. The event will be held at the Worcester Public Library, located at 3 Salem St. Worcester, in the Saxe Room.  Tim will present tunes, stories to reveal some real Irish culture.  Tim shows a strong passion for the Irish culture and its music.  He will also be accompanied by Irish step-dancer, Norah Garvey.

Stepping Out: Irish Step Dancing

On March 11, starting at 4 p.m., the WCUW Public Radio is hosting the Dublin Irish Dance “Stepping Out” at Mechanics Hall located on 321 Main St., Worcester.  The world champion Irish step dancers will be performing with a traditional Irish band and vocalist.   The dancers will bring to life the epic tale of Celtic culture, carrying its traditional melodies and steps to the New World with a Gala celebration of Irish Music and Dance.

Flock of A**Holes LIVE at Park Grill & Spirits

On March 11, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Party Ground Zero, also known as Park Grill & Spirits, located at 257 Park Ave. Worcester, will be hosting the band, Flock of A**Holes.  The Wachusett Wally Trailer will also be pouring 8 beers on site.  There is also a full bar and VIP room inside!  The cover for admission is $10 (cash only), and a great start to your holiday festivities!

Fergus LIVE at The Birch Tree Bread Company

On March 17, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., The Birch Tree Bread Company, located on 138 Green St., Worcester, will be hosting Fergus– a contemporary Irish band from Worcester!  Come grab a bite to eat and enjoy the music on this St. Patrick’s Day!

St. Patrick’s Day Dana-Farber Bowling Tournament

On March 17, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Roll for Cancer is putting on an ALL-LEVEL bowling tournament located at AMF Bowling (101 Southbridge Street, Auburn).  There are five bowlers per team, so grab your friends or just join a group at the event, you’ll be sure to strike up some fun!  Trophies will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place, as well as a fun consolation prize for the worst bowlers.

Not interested in bowling?  Not only will there be unlimited food, drinks, and music too!  There will also be raffles, drawings, arcades, and a photo booth!

Not only will you be having loads of fun, but you will be bowling for a cause.  This month’s event is supporting colorectal cancer, which with your help can help others who are treat and even cure this disease.  Purchasing a ticket, will not only support the Dana Farber foundation, but will provide you with 2 hours of bowling, complimentary shoes, unlimited food, unlimited sodas, arcades, and prizes. There is also a cash bar available!  Hurry before the event gets sold out!

Shamrocks and Beer Paint Night

On March 17,  at 7 p.m., Brewski’s Pub will be hosting a St. Patrick’s Day themed paint night!  Located on 413 Park Ave. Worcester, come and join the painting fun!  There will also be $2 Drafts, $2 Narragansett pounders, and $1 Jell-O shots!

On March 17, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., come and enjoy live music from Leadfoot at the KasBar on St. Patrick’s Day!  The KasBar located on 234 SW Cutoff Worcester, is sure to host an event filled with fun music and friends.  Don’t forget to wear your green!
