Russian Doll, a film by Framingham resident Ed Gafney, will run Sept. 17 at 5:45 p.m., during the qFlix Film Festival at The Hanover Theatre.

Starring Kristine Sutherland, the he film begins with a woman who stumbles upon a murder and is abducted moments into reporting it to the police. In the meantime, a relationship evolves between two female investigators.

The film was produced and directed by Gafney. The executive producers include his wife, New York Times Best Selling author Suzanne Brockmann, and her son, award-winning film producer and actor Jason T. Gafney.
