It’s a whole new era at Twin River Casino in Lincoln, R.I.

On June 19, Rhode Island Gov. Chafee, Speaker of the Rhode Island House Gordon Fox, Rhode Island State Senate President Teresa Paiva Weed and Lincoln Town Administrator T. Joseph Almond will join Twin River Casino Chairman John E. Taylor, Jr. and other guests at the official opening of table games at Twin River. The opening ceremonies will be held on Wednesday, June19, at 10:30 a.m. At the conclusion of the ceremonies, table games will open to the general public a full 12 days ahead of schedule.

According to John E. Taylor, Jr., this milestone in Twin River’s history will be marked with formal ribbon cutting ceremonies at the entrance to the table game first floor space, followed by a brief Blackjack tournament among invited dignitaries who will play for the Rhode Island charity of their choice. Twin River will donate $20,000 to six Rhode Island charities as designated by the winning players.
