Hip-hop music helps get your body moving in the club, and now, thanks to Lil Cease, it’ll help you shape your body into one you’ll be proud to flaunt anywhere.
James Lloyd ~ known to the hip-hop world as rapper “Lil Cease,” Junior Mafia member turned solo artist ~ has released the much anticipated HardBody urban fitness DVD series.
“We have actually created a movement that originated with artists like Melly Mel and LL Cool J. Our goal is to take it to that next level and make staying healthy and fit a trend,” said Lil Cease, who is also Co-CEO of HardBody Entertainment. Lil Cease writes on the HardBody website that the company is designed “…to be something of a lifestyle. It is the way we live, the way we think, and the way we move.” The concept is evident in their slogan: “Go Hard or Go Home!”
The first HardBody DVD is the incredible and inspiring story of Lil Cease dropping from 225 to 160 pounds in a matter of months. HardBody Fitness: Volume 1 features Lil Cease and HardBody Master Trainer and Certified instructor Lamont “Money L” Mosley. The HardBody DVD features a five-day basic workout routine used by Lil Cease, including muscle charts, diet tips and fitness facts. Lil Cease and Money L walk viewers through a regimen that includes traditional and nontraditional exercises. Routines like the anti gravity and abdominal crushing “windshield wipers” and the hydraulic inspired “6-4” push-ups are some of the unconventional exercises viewers will be taught. The routines on the DVD are explained in a fun and informative style.
“Because of Lil Cease and Money L, the DVD will reach a market that is not traditionally targeted for health and fitness: the urban youth,” said HardBody Entertainment Co-CEO Mazi Oyo. Since HardBody Entertainment began releasing video trailers of the workouts online, there has been an enormous amount of positive feedback and support from a number of celebrities including UFC champ Rashad Evans and hip-hop stars P.Diddy, 50 Cent, Fabolous and Faith Evans.
HardBody Fitness: Volume 1 also features XXL Editor Datwon Thomas recounting his experience witnessing the physical transformation of Lil Cease as well as an in-depth interview with Lil Cease and MTV VJ Sway.
HardBody Entertainment plans to release other DVDs for women, teens, and celebrities and will also put out an “8 Pack Abs” workout. To purchase Lil Cease’s HardBody DVD or to read more about the HardBody movement, visit HardBodyMusicGroup.com.
